COVID-19 Information
St Peter and St Paul CE Academy is open for all pupils to attend on site full-time, including those who were previously shielding.
Exception:
- Children should not attend school if they are displaying symptoms of Covid-19. If they have tested positive for the virus within the last 10 days, they may attend school from day 6, providing they have received two negative daily lateral flow tests. If a child develops symptoms during the school day, they will be moved to the library and a parent will be asked to collect them. Staff will confirm a suspected fever using a contactless thermometer before contacting a parent.
Free Lateral Flow Tests (LFTs) can be ordered here: Order coronavirus (COVID-19) rapid lateral flow tests - GOV.UK (www.gov.uk)
Home learning will be provided for children who fall into the above category. In line with government guidance, it is mandatory for all other children to attend school, including those identified as close contacts (providing they do not have a fever, continuous cough or loss/change to their taste/smell).
