St Peter and St Paul Academy Brings Art to the Heart of the Community

St Peter and St Paul C of E Academy is celebrating the artistic achievements of its Year 2 pupils, who have created stunning self-portraits as the final piece of their art unit, 'Portraits'. Their hard work and creativity have been recognised by the school, which is immensely proud of their efforts.

In a special initiative to showcase their talent, the self-portraits have been displayed in shop windows across the local community. Families and community members are encouraged to take a walk-through town and discover the incredible artwork created by these young artists.

The academy extends its gratitude to local businesses, including Gamble and Hollis, Groove, Boudoir, Amy Clarke Hair, and Flint Boutique, for their generous support in displaying the artwork. This collaboration highlights the strong community spirit and commitment to fostering young talent.

Sophie Moss, Headteacher at St Peter and St Paul C of E Academy, said: "Our Year 2 pupils have poured so much effort and imagination into these self-portraits, and we are thrilled to see their work celebrated in such a public and supportive way. We are incredibly grateful to the local businesses for helping to showcase their talent."
